FAMILY HISTORY 

               (d) John Robert Ransom (1823-1894) was a Builder by Trade. He was born on the 1st of December 1823 in Lawshall, Suffolk, England and died in 1894 in New Zealand. John married Harriet Sowerby on the 9th October 1849 at St Giles, London, England. Their first child, Vincent, was born in Camden Town, London but  the other children were all born in the Wellington area of New Zealand between the years 1853 and 1873.

           (e) Vincent Christopherson Ransom(1851-1905) married Mary Ann Knight in 1875 in the Hutt Area, Wellington, new Zealand, Mary Ann was born in 1852 to parents James Penrose Knight and Mary Ann Fairweather. Vincent was born in 1851 in London, England and died in New Zealand in 1905.

               (f) Myrtle Lillian Ransom (1880-1935) married Thomas Boswell Sutton in 1902. Thomas was born to parents Thomas Sutton and Rebecca Annie Gray.
