FAMILY HISTORY
(e) Daniel Peck (1809-1887) emmigrated to New Zealand from England on the 'Catherine Stewart Forbes' in 1841. With him was his wife Elizabeth nee Gaskin. Elizabeth was also travelling with her two brothers. See Combined Gaskin Tree for further details. Elizabeth was born abt 1813 and was baptized on the 1st January 1815 in Marden, Kent.
(f) Charles Peck (1838-1901) was born on the 5th November in Marden, Kent. He emigrated with his parents, Daniel and Elizabeth, to New Zealand in 1841 on the 'Catherine Stewart Forbes'. Charles married Ann(e) Gaskin on the 1st of September 1866. The wedding followed the birth of their first child, Charles, who was born on the 17th August 1866.
HELP .... Does anyone know to which families these individuals belong to : Charles Peck belongs too. He drowned in the Makirikiri River - Wellington on the 28th January 1860 and William Peck who drowned in the Hape River - Wellington on the 25th April 1868?
